The 1st of August each year signals not only an extra year older for all of our beautiful horses, but the end of the racing season for stables trainers and jockeys and their respective yearly premierships.
It is a great time to reflect on the past 12 months for Nat McCall Racing, in what most commentators have described as a “breakout year” for the operation!!
The stable amzingly ending the provincial season top ranked across Qld with a 28% win strike rate and 58% place rate to starters. Also as reported by Courier Mail late June, the stable achieved the best hit rate Qld wide when its horses started favourite in a race……..an amazing 64.7% winning rate.

Not only on the track but off it we also rolled out a new website and developed an even better communications platform. Brett has done an amazing job getting this firing and feedback from all owners has been that it is market best, particularly around updates they receive and the constant video / images of course.”
“Our goal remains to be the a Boutiques stable of choice! We cap our horses around the 50 mark so they all can get the attention they need and deserve, so we know our strike rate and communications to owners are our keys to success. This year we have been really aggressive in targetting our next champions and have a record 17 fantastic 2yos. They are more developed and of better breeding than we have had previously. Just could not be more excited about getting these kids out on the track, and this is definately the best batch we have ever had in the barn”. Nat gleamed
