This spectacular Colt was my clear pick of the sale and one I was desperate to bring home. The Colt is out of an exceptional female family, one that importantly is full of winners. From the 14 to race in the first 2 dams 13 have won.
This colt is a full brother to $220,000 yearling purchase Groundrush who was good enough to salute at Sydney Metropolitan level. 1st dam Grande Annee has produced 7 foals to race for 6 winners and is the half sister to Group 1 winner Bollinger who sits on top as the 2nd Dam.
Bollinger was a winner of 3 Stakes races including at the elite level when winning the Group 1 Coolmore Classic. She has proven to be a blue hen at stud having produced Group 2 winners Friesan Fire and Villermont. In total all 7 of her foals to race been have been winners.
This colt is athletic, balanced and possesses a deep girth. He is very strong through the front end and of course how can you look past the colour and handsome looks. He was very good in his breeze-up illustrating a good stride length and action.
We believe he is the real deal and with a nice spell upon arrival are confident he will be winning races next year.
